Faculty & Student Research

Research at 香港六合彩开奖结果 is an important element in the academic programs of our undergraduate and graduate students. For our undergraduates, it is part of the culminating activity for all seniors, each of whom creates an original thesis project that involves in-depth study and discovery research in an area of interest within their major. Throughout their academic careers, students have the opportunity to participate in faculty research or to initiate independent study projects with faculty mentors in their areas of interest.

Graduate research supports faculty scholarship, publication, policy making, and problem solving, while contributing to the academic vitality of an academic community. All Endicott faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to engage in a broad range of research, scholarship, and innovative activities that contribute to larger disciplinary, professional, and campus discussions.

Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research at 香港六合彩开奖结果 takes place in several ways. The culminating activity for all seniors is the creation of an original thesis project that involves in-depth study and discovery research in an area of interest within the major. The students' internship experiences often become sources of inspiration and data for their thesis projects. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in faculty research or to initiate independent study projects with faculty mentors in areas of student interest. The collaborative relationship between student and faculty member often leads to co-authored publications and conference presentations. Undergraduate research broadens students’ understanding of their chosen disciplines and gives them a competitive edge when seeking employment or applying to graduate schools.

Graduate Research

Graduate-level research supports faculty scholarship, publication, policy making, and problem solving, while contributing to the academic vitality of an academic community. Faculty and staff are encouraged to engage in a broad range of research, scholarship, and innovative activities that contribute to larger disciplinary, professional, and campus discussions. Students develop classroom research skills that encourage them to move beyond their academic coursework and participate in independent and faculty-student research initiatives.

Doctoral Research

Doctoral students at Endicott write a dissertation - a piece of original research that contributes to their fields of study. Typically, students begin by reviewing the literature to identify questions that current scholarship has not yet explored. They then carry out a study that addresses those questions, using rigorous methods of data collection, analysis, and reporting that meet the highest academic standards. Doctoral research prepares students to be scholar practitioners with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for professional leadership careers in health, education, business, industry, government, and non-profits.
