    The Internship & Career Center at Endicott is a resource to help students understand the relationship between academic experiences, internship opportunities, and career choices. We provide individual career advising, training seminars, employer events, on campus recruiting, an alumni mentor program, and career assessments to help students and alumni prepare for their future.

    Endicott’s internship program is staffed by internship faculty who are based in their respective academic departments. They help students acquire essential job search skills through required courses, group meetings, individual advising sessions, workshops, and academic coursework.

    Endicott’s pioneering internship program, extensive study and work abroad opportunities, and outstanding career resources give you an edge, so you graduate with a degree in one hand and an impressive resume in the other.

Internship Program

Your career journey begins on day one.

You will take an internship class your first semester focused on career preparation, professional skill building, and industry research. You will also have a chance to complete an internship your freshman year to gain experience and insight into working in your field.

As you begin shaping your career plan, we are here to help you assess your values, interests, and skills to make informed decisions about your future.

Submit internship proposals for approval, search for internships and jobs, find our events and workshops. Gulls@Work helps you find the internships and jobs you’re looking for and makes it easy for employers to recruit you.

Students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to join the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Networking group on LinkedIn to share job postings and resources and stay connected with the Endicott community.

Assessment

Take advantage of career assessment tools that allow you to explore career options tailored to your personality, skills, and interests.

A web-based tool for practicing interview skills with a virtual interviewer. Students and alumni can record and review their performance and also receive tips on improving their responses.

Mastering your money just got a lot easier. Financial Avenue provides online financial education to help you gain important knowledge about the basics of personal money management. You’ll have access to videos, tools, articles, calculators, and much more.

Search through all the past internship sites. This will give you a list of warm connections and their contact information so you can reach out.

This is one of the best resources to assist you in the internship and job search. LinkedIn allows you to share your experience, skills, and qualifications with future employers as well as build and interact with your network and grow your brand as a professional.

Endicott has partnered with LiquidCompass to connect our students and alumni with up-to-date opportunities in healthcare at hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the U.S.

Forage is a free online resource which offers virtual experience programs designed by leading companies. Develop your skills and gain a real understanding of different roles and sectors by working through these self-paced modules, with tasks similar to those you would undertake during a traditional internship.

Endicott is proud to partner with Work Without Limits—a network of employers, educational institutions, employment service providers, state and federal agencies, individuals with disabilities, and their family members. Through collaboration and partnership, our goal is to increase the employment of people with disabilities until it is equal to those without disabilities.

In her six years as an Endicott Gull, Paige Shippie accomplished a list of accolades—most notably, earning two bachelor’s degrees—the first in English & creative writing in 2016, and the second in hospitality management in 2019. After having a moment of clarity in 2017, Shippie decided to return to her alma mater to pursue her passion through a second bachelor’s at an accelerated pace of two years.
