The number of nuptials COVID-19 has affected is countless. Misselwood Events, a premier  in New England, saw first-hand just how many weddings needed to be postponed or canceled due to coronavirus. Because of this, Misselwood led the charge in the wedding industry to offer a safe, elegant option for engaged couples to say “I do” in front of those nearest and dearest to them.

By the end of October, Misselwood had hosted 26 couples for a small, intimate ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. While there is no official setup allowed for vendors, couples may have up to 20 guests and up to two hours to spend on the grounds for the ceremony and photographs. All attendees are required to wear proper face coverings and practice social distancing; however, the couple is permitted to remove their face masks while exchanging vows.

Misselwood plans to continue to offer Vows with a View once larger gatherings resume, based on availability. To learn more, visit

"After meeting at Endicott as students, it was our dream to get married at Misselwood and when the pandemic began, we were heartbroken when it seemed like it would no longer be a possibility. Due to overwhelming support by the Misselwood staff, we were able to have a beautiful ceremony to safely exchange our vows with our closest friends and family."—Hayley Landry ’14
