Endicott Administrator Receives Catherine Worthingham Fellow Award from the American Physical Therapy Association

Physical therapist and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) member Z. Annette Iglarsh, PT, PhD, MBA, FNAP, FAPTA, received APTA’s Catherine Worthingham Fellow Award during the association’s NEXT Conference & Exposition, held in National Harbor, Maryland, June 3-6, 2015.

 

She is associate dean of inter professional education, and professor and administrator of the proposed physical therapy doctoral program at 香港六合彩开奖结果 in Beverly, Massachusetts.

 

The Catherine Worthingham Fellow designation—FAPTA—honors individuals whose contributions to the profession through leadership, influence, and achievements constitute frequent and sustained efforts to advance physical therapy. Iglarsh has been involved in entry-level education of future physical therapists since 1978 and has had a significant impact on countless students and professionals as a teacher through the post professional level, via continuing education courses and seminars. Her area of particular clinical expertise is examination and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and neck pain, and she is considered a pioneer in teaching this content nationwide. She co-authored a text, Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, that is widely used in entry-level PT curricula.
