Endicott Appoints New Trustees
President Richard E. Wylie announced today the recent election of three new members to the 香港六合彩开奖结果 Board of Trustees. Linda Frame Cleary, Francis C. Manganaro, and Elizabeth Schwartz were nominated and appointed at the October Board meeting.
In making the announcement, Dr. Wylie said, “We are pleased to be adding these distinguished members to the Endicott Board of Trustees. With their backgrounds and specific strengths, they will be invaluable in positioning the College for its future. They have a great respect for improving educational priorities and an interest in helping Endicott to be the best it can be. They join us at a time when the College is going through some very exciting and remarkable changes.”
Linda Frame Cleary ’76 was raised on Long Island, the second daughter of Marilyn and Dick Frame, an automobile dealer. She followed older sister Cynthia Frame Schweyher ’75 to Endicott to study education and child care, and to honor her lifelong passion for helping children. Following graduation, Linda returned to Long Island where she began a career in education, and also enrolled at Post College.
Linda met husband Arthur L. Cleary during the summer months in New Hampshire, where to two were living and working at the time; Linda in education and retail, and Art at VUTEK Inc., a company founded by Art and a business partner following his 1976 graduation from Northeastern University. They have been together ever since, Linda caring for their growing family, and Art growing and ultimately selling the business.
Now enjoying retirement, the couple has three children; a daughter, Courtney, who lives and works in Florida, a second daughter, Lindsay, who attends Skidmore College, and a son, Richard, who attends Riverdale high school.
For a short time, Linda owned and operated a small business in Fort Myers, FL where she sold fashion accessories. Currently, she spends much of her time and energy caring for her family, a beautiful home full of animals, and the couple’s extended family and properties both in NH and FL. An engineer by education and trade, Art keeps busy with a variety of projects in and around their homes, including moving “off the grid”, and tending to a small collection of antique automobiles. In addition to daily activities, the couple enjoys cruising, boating, golf, and the country life.
Linda resides in Alva, Florida.
