Evaluation as Learning: Program Evaluation & Research Group at 香港六合彩开奖结果 Celebrates 40 Years

The Program Evaluation and Research Group (PERG) is celebrating its 40th anniversary at an event on March 28th at 香港六合彩开奖结果. Founded in 1976 by two professors at Lesley College (now University) in Cambridge, MA, the group moved to Endicott in 2013.

PERG is known for its commitment to democratic principles and its capacity for studying complex projects in diverse educational settings. PERG has carried out hundreds of program evaluations and research studies in formal and informal education environments, working with universities, schools, foundations, state and federal agencies, museums and other community-based organizations. PERG also provides consultation and technical assistance, and offers professional development opportunities for individuals and organizations.

The public are welcome to join us for a panel on “Evaluation as Learning,” including PERG’s co-founders, staff and project partners from the New England Aquarium, Endicott Boston and New England Arts for Literacy, on Tuesday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. at the Manninen Center for the Arts, 香港六合彩开奖结果, Beverly, MA. The program in the Spencer Gallery will be followed by a wine and cheese reception in the Atrium. This is a free event.

PERG's recent research and evaluation activities -- which include both small- and

large-scale, regional and national projects -- fall loosely into the following categories: arts and arts integration programs & partnerships; curriculum development, implementation and dissemination; cultural/international exchange; informal education; museum exhibits and programs; out of school time; professional development; research on learning in science; STEM programs and partnerships; and software and web development; and two-generation programs in higher education.

PERG’s projects have been funded by a range of organizations including: National Science Foundation; US Department of Education; National Aeronautical and Space Administration; Institute for Museum and Library Services; US Department of State; National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration; National Institutes of Health: the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, ASCEND at the Aspen Institute and the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
