Internship, Co-op, & Career Fair Set to Provide Networking & Employment Opportunities

Student engaging with employers at internship fair.
Networking event hosts 85+ employers and aims to offer internship and employment connections to students.
2/26/2019

Our annual spring Internship, Co-op, & Career Fair is today. That means our students have the opportunity to network with more than 85 organizations across all industries and learn about potential internship experiences and opportunities for full-time employment.

Associate Director of Employer Relations for the Internship & Career Center, Brenda Campbell, says, “Approximately 20 percent of our students going out on semester-long internships in the fall were directly related to the Internship, Co-op, & Career Fair.” That’s a pretty big deal.

Last year’s event brought 90 diverse organizations offering internships and full-time opportunities and connected with 714 students—a 40 percent increase from the year prior.

The event is such a great opportunity for students to make connections because it brings companies on campus with one goal in mind—to recruit Endicott students for internships, co-ops, and full-time careers.

“If not for an immediate opportunity, it is great to build your network for future opportunities,” says Campbell, “Students gain access to top companies for their next internship or full-time career as well as practice their networking skills, receive LinkedIn headshots, and learn from student clubs and organizations before the fair in an intimate luncheon and networking event called the Reverse Career Fair.”

Employers who attended last year shared feedback like; "Students here are so incredible and talented,” and, "Endicott students are amazing, it's very refreshing to see their passion."

This year’s event is sponsored by our 2019 Corporate Sponsors—Northwestern Mutual, Electric Insurance, Johnson O'Connor, AFC Urgent Care, American Fidelity Assurance Group, Melmark New England.

The event in numbers.

Last year 69 percent of our employers planned to interview students after the fair.

This year 29 registered alumni are planning to attend the event as employers.

Who will be at this year’s event?

Just a few of the companies who will be at this year’s event include, Liberty Mutual, Wayfair, Boston Celtics, RSM, KPMG, U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, iRobot, EF Education First, Puma, and New Balance.
