Program Overview

The psychology program's emphasis on the scientific study of individual and collective behavior, the social and cultural basis of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders makes it ideal for students to move into any career associated with psychology, like:

Coursework is engaging and ranges from child development to aging and adulthood as well as includes psychological disorders and counseling techniques. Upon completion of the psychology program, students will:

- Apply basic research methods in psychology, including research design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Apply basic psychological concepts and principles in real world settings.
- Communicate effectively in written form within the conventions of the psychology discipline.
- Demonstrate the critical inquiry and analysis skills needed to engage constructively in academic discourse within the psychology discipline.
