    The psychology program's emphasis on the scientific study of individual and collective behavior, the social and cultural basis of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders makes it ideal for students to move into any career associated with psychology, like:

    Coursework is engaging and ranges from child development to aging and adulthood as well as includes psychological disorders and counseling techniques. You will receive a strong foundation and theoretical perspective, research methods, and statistics, which will prepare you to contribute to the expanding field by collaborating with faculty on research projects, developing your own original questions, and pursuing your interests in advanced graduate study.

    Courtney Gallo '19, a psychology major, spent her semester-long internship with ABA Therapeutics鈥攁n organization that specializes in early ABA intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Courtney gives us an inside look into her hands-on experience, part of Endicott's experiential learning model that requires students to complete three internships before graduation.

Research and Running
Abby Keim '19, a double major in bio/biotechnology and psychology as well as a cross country and track and field student-athlete, has taken advantage of one of the many experiential learning opportunities Endicott offers that has real-world application鈥攃ollaborative research with faculty. Abby has teamed up with associate professor of psychology, Dr. Alefiya Albers, to investigate how olfactory, or sense of smell, has any correlation to identifying brain health.
